We act strongly in the well-being of the communities in our surroundings. Since 2005, our Social Responsibility professionals have worked for the social, economic and cultural growth of our neighbors - families who live close to our two factories, in Turvo, Paraná, and Embu das Artes, in São Paulo.
Our projects encourage citizenship and development. We work focused on the objectives of the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development, defined by the United Nations (UN) in 2015. We are committed to the development of everyone, so our teams and their families are also welcomed by our actions. Now that you know a little more about the activities of our Social Responsibility area, how about getting to know our projects? All of them were recognized by the Sesi ODS Award.
we take environmental education to schools in the Turvo region.
we encourage reading, writing, interpreting, creativity and socializing with books, workshops, storytelling and other games that delight children from 6 to 12 years old. Child readers can choose from the 1,085 books in the small library at Centro Comunitário Ibema, and decide if they prefer to read them on our sofas made of pallets or lend them to be explore at home.
IBEMARTE
the artisans, who live close to the factory, meet regularly and create delicate handicrafts made from cardboard tapes discarded by the industry. The success of the pieces is such that they are sold in large centers, have turned into extra income for families and help to boost the economy of the Turvo community.
